"The girls came out ready to play tonight and I was proud how they pushed through when the set was close," said Corban head coach Kim McLain. "We need to continue working on consistency."
Offensively, the Warriors were led by junior Amber Parker, who had 13 kills to her name by the end of the match. Hitting for a .294 mark, she was always a constant threat to the Knights. Dishing out the assists was sophomore Madison McLain, who totaled a match-high 39 assists.
It was a great team performance on the defensive end as well. Junior Haley Wells was her usual crafty self, finding ways to dig even the most impossible attacks, tallying up a total of 15 digs on the match. Junior Marandah Boeder joined in on the efforts defensively, tallying up one solo block and four block assists to help stifle the Knight's offense.
