KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the fifth regular-season volleyball coaches top-25 poll on Tuesday, and the Corban University volleyball team remained at No. 22 for the third-straight poll.
The Warriors, which have won 12 of their last 13 matches, have won six-straight matches overall. Corban's only loss in the last 13 matches came against No. 7 Eastern Oregon University. Since the last poll, Corban has gained four total points, moving from 186 points in the poll to now 190.
Corban finished its 2016 regular-season home record at 9-1 overall and is currently 19-5 overall on the year with a 15-3 mark in Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play. The Warriors, via their outstanding conference record, have clinched the No. 2 seed in the CCC Tournament and have received a bye to the CCC Tournament semifinals next week, set to be hosted by Eastern Oregon University on Friday and Saturday, November 11-12.
Corban closes out its regular season this week on the road when it travels south to take on Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon University. First serves are set for 7 p.m. both evenings.
