KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released its most recent edition of the Women's Volleyball National Selection Committee Poll for the 2026 season on Wednesday morning, where the Corban University women's volleyball program slipped one spot from their previous No. 5 ranking despite continuing to add quality victories to their résumé during the heart of Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play.

"We are honored to be ranked sixth in the nation!" exclaimed Warriors' head coach Kim McLain. "I'm proud of this team and the growth they continue to show each day. Our focus is on getting better, staying connected as a team, and playing for one another as we work toward being at our best with it matters most. We know there is still a lot of work to be done, and I'm excited for what's to come for this team!"
The Warriors moved down one position from No. 5 to No. 6 in the latest NSC rankings despite adding a massive ranked victory to their season results since the inaugural poll was released. Corban improved its overall record to 17-6 during that span, but significant movement among teams ahead of the Warriors resulted in the slight drop. Missouri Baptist surged from No. 9 to No. 4 nationally, while fellow CCC contender College of Idaho climbed from No. 8 to No. 5, creating the shift in the top six.
Corban's slight movement in the rankings came amid significant shuffling throughout the Top 25. Only two teams maintained their previous positions, while several programs made sizable jumps up and down the poll. According to the NSC rankings released Wednesday, Northwestern (Iowa) ascended to the No. 1 position, while fellow CCC member Eastern Oregon dropped to No. 2 after the Navy and Gold snapped their 23-match winning streak on the Mountaineers' home court last Friday.
The Warriors continue to boast one of the strongest résumés in the country. Since the inaugural NSC rankings were released earlier this month, Corban has continued to navigate a demanding conference schedule that features multiple nationally-ranked opponents. Their body of work includes victories over several nationally-ranked programs throughout both non-conference and conference action, helping keep the Warriors firmly among the nation's elite.
The latest poll also serves as another reminder of the strength of the CCC, which placed five teams inside the Top 25 and half of the top six. Those include Eastern Oregon at No. 2, College of Idaho at No. 5, Corban at No. 6, Lewis-Clark State College at No. 22, and Southern Oregon University at No. 24. The representation further solidifies the CCC as one of the premier volleyball conferences in the NAIA.
