Bischoff Repeats as CCC Attacker of the Week Following Undefeated Homestand

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office has announced the CCC Players of the Week for the competitions held between October 5th and 11th, where the No. 5-ranked Corban University Women's Volleyball team once again saw one of their four-year starters named to an eighth career Attacker of the Week honor. Senior outside hitter Emma Bischoff was selected for the award for a second-consecutive week after leading the Warriors to a pair of midweek CCC sweeps over Bushnell University and Warner Pacific University.

"Emma continues to put in the work each and every day, and what makes her special is how she always gives credit back to her teammates. She is so deserving of every recognition she receives! I'm incredibly proud of her and excited to see what she can accomplish as we continue this journey together!"

Bischoff spearheaded the Warrior offense in a key straight-set victory over fellow conference contender and I-5 rival Bushnell. In a matchup between two teams vying for a top position in the CCC standings, she totaled 12 kills, 10 digs, two service aces, and 15.0 points, recording her seventh-straight double-double while helping Corban secure a well-deserved sweep of the Beacons that avenged their earlier season loss in Eugene.

The senior followed that performance with one of her most efficient outings of the season in Corban's sweep of Warner Pacific. Bischoff hammered home 10 kills without committing an error, posting a stellar .556 attacking percentage while adding six digs, two service aces, and 12.5 points in just three shortened sets of action in which she was subbed out in both the second and third sets to allow her underclassmen teammates some in-game opportunities. The Warriors hit .340 as a team and held the Knights to a negative attacking percentage en route to the victory.

Across the two conference wins, Bischoff accumulated 22 kills, 16 digs, four service aces, three block assists, and 27.5 points, averaging 3.67 kills per set while hitting.376 overall. She led Corban in kills during both matches and continued an outstanding stretch that has helped fuel the Warriors' rise in the conference standings. She now has double-digit kill counts in eight-straight matches and all but six of her 21 total matches played thus far in 2026.

Her efforts helped the Navy and Gold improve to 16-5 overall and 9-3 in CCC play, extending their winning streak to six matches as Corban continues to position itself among the conference's top contenders entering the final weeks of the regular season.

Bischoff becomes the first Warrior women's volleyball student-athlete this season to earn multiple CCC Player of the Week honors and joins teammate and junior middle blocker Gracee Robertson, a recent CCC Defender of the Week selection, among Corban's conference award winners in 2026.

The Warriors return to action this weekend when they travel to No. 1-ranked Eastern Oregon University and No. 8-ranked College of Idaho for a pair of crucial CCC matchups in which they will have opportunities to avenge earlier season losses to the Mounties and Yotes on Tim Hills Court. They'll begin in La Grande on Friday at 6pm against EOU, followed by a 4pm MT/3pm PT matchup in Caldwell, Idaho on Saturday versus C of I.
