SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University men's basketball team snapped a three-game skid in style on Saturday evening in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center, dominating Multnomah University 115-75 on Senior Night.

"It felt good to get a bounce-back win in front of a great senior night crowd," said Corban head coach Austin Johnson. "We were unselfish and did a great job of defending and rebounding in the second half. I am very thankful for our four seniors and hopefully we can extend their careers for a few more games."
Prior to the start of the game, Corban's four seniors: Alex Ferry, Jeremiah Harris, Toby Roth, and Caleb Herzberg, were all honored in a Senior Night ceremony.
As the contest got going, Roth began the game with a bang, draining his first three-point attempt of the night to give the Warriors the early lead. After a bit of a back and forth first half, the Warriors pushed in front by nine points and led 50-41 at the break.
In the second stanza, Corban used a big offensive spurt to build the lead up to 20 points right away, and from there, the Warriors never looked back en route to the 40-point triumph. Everyone got involved in the second half, capped by Chris Martin and Mike Seng catching fire from downtown, while Samuel Adjei got out on a fast break and threw down a thunderous dunk to finish the evening with a bang.
Martin finished the night with a team-best 22 points and five long-range efforts made, while Seng tallied 11 points to his name. Jake Love totaled a 15-point effort in the victory, while AJ Monterossi scored 12 points on a 6-for-8 shooting mark. Roth finished the game with nine points and a team-best four steals, and afterwards, he talked about the team's performance:
As a team, Corban shot 59.7% overall and 38.7% from deep, nailing 12 long-range efforts. Defensively the Warriors locked down, holding the Lions to just a 31.2% shooting mark overall. Darius Redrick scored a team-best 23 points, while Ezekiel Martin recorded 11 points for the Lions.
Corban (15-13, 8-10 CCC) returns to the hardwood next week on the road when it heads to Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon University. Tipoffs in the final two regular-season games of the year are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
