"I was proud of the way the team played," said Corban head coach Kim McLain. "We passed very well, which enabled us to establish our offense."

The triumph added to Corban's solid start to the 2017 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) campaign, improving the Warriors' record to 5-1 in CCC play.

Corban hit at an impressive .440 clip on the night while holding Walla Walla to just a .056 mark.

The Navy and Gold was led offensively by Amber Parker, who tallied 18 kills with no errors, while Adriana Aguayo also racked up nine kills on just three errors.

Haley Wells was excellent defensively for the Warriors with 13 digs, while Madison McLain recorded eight digs of her own in the victory. Marandah Boeder and Aguayo both notched two block assists to lead the Warriors at the net.

Dishing out the assists was McLain with a team-best 26 on the night, while Cierra Leopoldino totaled 15.

For Walla Walla, Lauren Barlow impacted both sides of the ball with a team-best seven kills to go alongside 10 digs on the defensive end.
