PORTLAND, Ore. – The Corban University men's basketball team closed out the 2017-18 regular season with a bang on Saturday, blasting past Portland Bible College in non-conference action, 90-63.
"It was a good defensive effort tonight by our guys," said Corban head coach Austin Johnson. "As the season winds down, it is challenging at times to stay locked in defensively, but I give our guys tremendous credit for their effort and performance tonight. Equally impressive was our ball movement and unselfishness on offense. We'll now move forward to postseason play and be ready to hit the road this week."
The Warriors will be the No. 6 seed in the upcoming Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Tournament and will travel to the No. 3 seed, Oregon Tech, on Wednesday. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
