"It was a 'grind it out' defensive game tonight," said head coach Bill Pilgeram. "We were able to out-rebound a very good rebounding team and hold them to fifty points."

Corban stormed out of the gates, kicking off the contest with a 13-2 run. Northwest issued a strong second-quarter response, outscoring the Warriors to make it a five-point game (31-26) at the midway point.

From there on out, Corban struggled to pull away from the Eagles, as neither team was able to swing the momentum in their favor for a sustained period of time. In the end, the Warriors were able to weather Northwest's runs, while also sinking the clutch baskets they needed down the stretch to seal the victory.

Neither team shot exceptionally well, as Corban finished with a 39.6% mark from the floor and 20% mark from beyond the arc. On the opposite side, Northwest finished at 35.9% from the field and just 15% from three. In a game where rebounds were crucial, the Warriors were able to out-rebound the Eagles (42-34), limiting their opponent's second-chance opportunities at a time when opportunities were hard to come by.

One offensive standout was Corban's Treasure Farmer, who collected her first-career double-double with her 16 points and 11 assists.

"I thought Treasure's overall game was excellent and she really led our team well tonight," Pilgeram said about his point guard.

After a quiet night last night, Jordan Woodvine delivered a strong offensive effort in tonight's victory—notching 19 points and five rebounds. Emily Yost was the team's primary contributor at the glass, tallying a squad-best eight boards to go alongside 10 points.

The Warriors (16-7, 10-3 CCC) will hit the road for their final regular-season away contests of the season, taking on their I-5 rivals—Multnomah and Warner Pacific—on February 1 and 2.
