CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) media has tabbed the Corban University men's basketball team fifth in their 2021 spring preseason rankings. The Navy and Gold amassed 29 points in the poll, which was created by the Sports Information Directors of the conference.
The Warriors trail four conference foes in the rankings, including the ever-impressive Oregon Tech Hustlin' Owls, who lead the poll with 43 points. The Owls also received five of the seven first-place votes.
Southern Oregon stands in second place, with a total of 34 points and one first-place vote. Just two points behind are the Beacons of Bushnell University, who piled up 32 points but did not receive a first-place vote. Another two points away is the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers, who come into the season with 30 points and a first-place vote to their name.
The Warriors trail the Mounties by just one point, as the CCC race for supremacy looks to be a tight battle throughout the spring.
Warner Pacific University and Multnomah University round out the rankings with 19 and 10 points accrued in the rankings, respectively.
