SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University beach volleyball team hosted the University of Portland and the University of Oregon on Tuesday at the Corban Beach Volleyball Courts. The Navy and Gold fought valiantly against both NCAA Division I foes, but were unable to earn victory as a team in either dual. University of Oregon earned a 4-1 triumph, while Portland picked up a slim 3-2 win.
The Corban pair of Jolinn Daviscourt and Jacquelyn Clark grabbed a tight three-set win over Batia Rotshtein and Abby Plevin (21-18, 17-21, 17-15) for the Warriors' only winner in the day's first dual.
In the second dual of the day, Corban was able to pick up two victories against the Pilots. Daviscourt and Clark earned a comfortable win over Grace Zilbert and Kendall Nolan (21-14, 21-15), and Nicole Bantilan and Kalisi Latu took their battle against Maluhia Hirahara and Nevaeh Bray (21-14, 21-8).

The Warriors will now be heading to the southeastern-most state in the union, Florida, to participate in the AVCA National Championships in Hickory Point, Fla. The Navy and Gold will be hoping to have an impressive showing in front of the best small-college beach pairs in the U.S.
