KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes from the 2020-21 academic year recently, with an impressive combined total of 78 Corban University student-athletes claiming the distinguished honor.
College of Idaho was the only school in the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) to earn more honorees than the Navy and Gold.
In order to achieve NAIA Scholar-Athlete status, a student-athlete must be of at least junior academic status, while compiling a GPA of 3.5 or above.Â

In addition, 11 of the Navy and Gold's athletic programs (baseball, women's lacrosse, men's golf, men's track & field, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's golf, women's track & field, women's soccer, volleyball, softball) received NAIA Scholar-Team status, which requires a squad to produce a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0.
