"We have a very challenging non-conference schedule that will really test us and get us prepared for what is shaping up to be a very competitive CCC season," said Pilgeram. "After not getting a full season last year, it is exciting to prepare for a full slate of non-conference games against high-quality opponents."
The squad will officially open its schedule on October 29 with a road battle against crosstown rival Willamette University. After the battle for Salem, the Warriors will head to Big Sky Country to compete with Montana State University-Northern, the University of Providence, and Carroll College in early November.
After a pair of exhibition tune-ups on the road in Seattle, the Navy and Gold will host Montana Tech, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Northwest University for the Corban Classic on November 19-20, before hosting reigning CCC Champion Bushnell University on November 23 to begin conference play.
From there, Corban's regimen will consist almost entirely of conference match-ups, with the winner of the CCC regular-season standings earning a berth in the national tournament.
After regular-season competition wraps up, the Navy and Gold aim to participate in the CCC Championships, set to take place on February 22-28. The winner of tournament—or the tournament runner-up, should the regular-season champion also win the tournament—will garner the CCC's second automatic bid to the NAIA Championships.
The NAIA National Tournament is slated to begin on March 11-12 with the NAIA Opening Round, concluding with the NAIA Final Site in Sioux City, Iowa on March 17.
