LEWISTON, Idaho – The Corban University women's basketball team fell on the road to Lewis-Clark State College on Friday, stumbling by a final score of 105-52. Corban posts Holly Golenor and Madison Hodnett each registered double-doubles in the defeat.

"Everyone who played for us logged big minutes and competed tonight," said head coach Bill Pilgeram. "Maddie [Hodnett] and Holly [Golenor] each getting double-doubles as our only two posts was extraordinary. We are savoring every chance we get to get on the floor and compete during all the uncertainty around us! I'm very proud and impressed with how our team is handling this season."

Lewis-Clark State opened the game on a 20-2 run and never looked back, scoring 61 points in the first half to create a comfortable early cushion. The hometown Warriors shot at an impressive 55.3% mark from the floor in the triumph (42-for-76), sinking over half of their three-point attempts (12-for-23, 52.2% 3PT).

Six members of the LC State (13-3, 7-3 CCC) lineup reached double figures, headlined by Callie Stevens (27 points, five assists) and Maddie Holm (22 points, 10 rebounds). Both Holm and Adyson Clabby (10 points, 10 rebounds) registered double-doubles for the squad from Lewiston.

It's the second-straight night—and seventh time this season—that Golenor has registered a double-double. The Meridian, Idaho native led Corban with 20 points, tying for the team lead with 11 boards. Hodnett was the other member of the Navy and Gold to grab 11 rebounds, while also adding 12 points. Both of those marks are career highs for the freshman, who put together the first double-double of her young career.

Gemma LaVergne rounded out Corban's double-digit scorers, ending the contest with 14 points and a season-high six assists.

The Navy and Gold (2-16, 1-10 CCC) will look ahead to another Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) duel tomorrow night, heading to Walla Walla University for a 6:30 p.m. battle on Saturday evening.
