"Apparently we just need every game to go into overtime," head coach Bill Pilgeram said. "Once again, after logging big minutes, this team found a way to dig deep and find another level in overtime! The execution and shot-making down the stretch and throughout overtime was a thing of beauty!"
The visitors boasted a five-point advantage at the end of the first period, but the Navy and Gold responded with a 20-point second quarter to take a 34-27 advantage into the locker room at halftime.
It was a one-point game heading into the final period, and the lead changed hands seven times in the final ten minutes as the two squads jostled for the edge. Corban trailed by three points with 31 seconds left to play, but Holly Golenor fought through a foul and sank a clutch lay-in to pull the Warriors within one. Golenor converted the three-point play to tie the game, eventually sending the contest to overtime.

Corban's offense executed brilliantly during bonus basketball, scoring the first 13 points of overtime to remove any tension from the extra period. The Navy and Gold has now won each of its two overtime contests this season.
Golenor continued her incredible season, finishing the win with yet another double-double (22 PTS, 11 REB). She now has nine double-doubles this year, and is not only averaging a double-double on the year (15.6 PPG, 10.3 RPG), but she also ranks fifth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) in scoring (15.6 PPG), second in rebounding (10.3 RPG), and fourth in blocks (27).
In the back court, Gemma LaVergne dropped 12 points and grabbed five boards in the victory, and Gracie McCoy added 12 points of her own. Kaci Paffhausen played an integral role in Corban's nine second-chance points, gobbling up 10 rebounds—half of which were offensive boards.

The Wolves were paced offensively by Jaliyah Casem (17 PTS), Carolina Montes (16 PTS), and Isabella Robles (12 PTS).
The Warriors (5-21, 4-15 CCC) will play their final home game of the season tomorrow afternoon, welcoming No. 21 Lewis-Clark State College at 3 p.m. Prior to tip-off, Corban's three seniors—Paffhausen, Keila Tsutsui, and McCoy—will be recognized for their contributions to the program.
