No. 7 Corban Beach Volleyball Collects Two Wins over Beacons to Open Season

SALEM, Ore. – The No. 7-ranked Corban University beach volleyball team went head-to-head with (RV) Bushnell University—an interstate-5 rival in its first year as a beach volleyball program—on Friday afternoon in the squad's first two duals of the 2022 campaign. Corban earned a 5-0 sweep in the first dual of the day, and then took the second contest by a 4-1 final tally.

The Warriors dominated in the first battle of the season, sweeping the five pairs matches in an impressive start to the spring slate.

The Beacons earned their program's first-ever pairs win in the second contest of the day, courtesy of Teja Abbott and Halle Neumann in the No. 4 tandem battle, but it wouldn't be enough to slow down the Warriors, who swept the doubleheader with a 4-1 victory in the second dual of the twin bill.
