SALEM, Ore. – The No. 8-ranked Corban University beach volleyball team welcomed I-5 rival Bushnell and three NCAA Division I opponents to their home courts for the Northwest Invitational dual tournament. The Warriors played Bushnell in the morning dual and won 4-1. Boise State University challenged Corban in the afternoon contest and handed the Navy and Gold their first shutout loss of the season.
"We had a great day today," said head coach Diana Villalpando. "We took care of business against Bushnell. I was really proud of how we are continuing to learn and get better. We are excited to get back out there tomorrow and be challenged by Oregon and Portland."

The Northwest Invitational will continue tomorrow morning. Corban will take on the University of Oregon at 9 a.m. and the University of Portland at 11:30 a.m.
