No. 8 Corban Beach Volleyball Earns 4-1 and 5-0 Wins over Bushnell

SALEM, Ore. – The No. 8-ranked Corban University beach volleyball team capped off a four-dual weekend sweep of Interstate-5 rival Bushnell University on Saturday, cruising to a pair of comfortable victories in the Navy and Gold's return to campus.

Corban took the first bout by a 4-1 final score, and then the Warriors swept the second dual for a resounding finish to an undefeated weekend of competition.

"It was another tough battle today against Bushnell," said head coach Diana Villalpando. "Our ladies showed a lot of growth by being able to come back today after our doubleheader yesterday; we did a great job of executing our game plan. We are a younger team, but we showed a lot of maturity today in the way we prepared and played."

With the victories, Corban has now won five-straight contests.
