CHULA VISTA, Calif. – The Corban University beach volleyball team traveled to Chula Vista, California where the University of Saint Katherine and the California Pacific Conference are hosting the Cal Pac Conference Tournament beginning tomorrow, April 7.

All five Cal Pac Conference teams and two teams from the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) will make up the field for the NAIA qualifying event. The Cal Pac volleyball committee seeded the teams for the opening round of pool play with Corban landing in the two spot.

Once pool play is completed, the seven teams will be re-seeded for single-elimination bracket play on Friday, April 8. 

No. 6-ranked Corban will play the seventh seed, Marymount California, at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The winner of the tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA Women's Beach Volleyball National Invitational in Panama City, Fla.
