SALEM, Ore. – Another five-set sweep was in store for Warrior Nation as they cheered on their No. 1-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball team (3-0) in an early morning dual in the Warrior Tournament against Southern Oregon University (1-2).
"It was great to finally get out and play someone other than ourselves," Corban Head Coach Diana Villalpando shared. "Although we came away with wins this weekend, it also exposed areas in our game we need to work on."
Villalpando concluded by sharing, "I'm excited to come back this week and work on those things before we head to Texas. We still need to be more consistent to be the best team we can be."
The Warriors concluded their opening weekend with five quick two-set sweeps against the Raiders, allowing just 100 total points in 10 sets played. All five pairs found success early and often against their opponents, while the adversity they did find was swiftly diminished before it grew into anything more severe.
