CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball All-Conference teams on Tuesday morning, where the Corban University Women's Basketball team saw two standout student-athletes named to the All-Conference teams in senior forward Holly Golenor and junior guard Maddie Godwin.
"Holly and Maddie have been great leaders all season for us," Warriors' Head Coach Bill Pilgeram shared on his pair of Al-Conference selections.

Golenor capped off a remarkable collegiate career with an outstanding senior season in the paint for the Warriors, posting CCC top 20 marks in both points per game (11.1) and rebounds per game (6.9), while also ranking eighth in field goal percentage at 46.4% to earn All-Conference team accolades on the year.
Her success in the key came on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor, as she averaged over two offensive rebounds per game (2.6) to allow the Navy and Gold numerous second chance opportunities, while also posting 1.3 blocks per game against opposing offenses.
"Ever since arriving at Corban, Holly has been one of the best post players in the league every season. Being All-CCC for three years shows how valuable she is," Pilgeram explained about his 6'0 senior leader forward.
Godwin entered her junior season by jumping to the NAIA level from Wenatchee Valley Community College in the NWAC and immediately became a focal point of the Warriors' offense. Averaging a team-high 11.6 points per game and placing 17th overall in the conference, Godwin easily found herself in clutch situations down the stretch of games, giving her more than enough leverage to earn Honorable Mention All-Conference honors.
She also found success from beyond the three-point in her first year as a Warrior, placing 11th in the conference for three-pointers made over the course of the season with 53 deep shots made, an average of almost two per game.
"Maddie came in this year and fit right in with our program, showing she belonged from the start. We are lucky to have her to build our team around next season," Pilgeram shared on one of his hardest working contributors.
Golenor and Godwin led their team to a 12-17 overall finish, a significant improvement following last year's 5-24 record that featured multiple season-ending injuries to key players, all while still maneuvering Covid-19 related issues across the nation. The program restarted their postseason streak by earning the No. 7 seed in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament, and will look to build upon that reinvigorated success next season with 14 returning student-athletes out of 16 from the roster this season.
