ASHLAND, Ore. – The Corban University Beach Volleyball team (7-2) made quick work of their only opponent this afternoon at the SOU Tourney, defeating Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) foe and tournament host Southern Oregon University (2-4) in 10-straight sets, with the most points allowed in a single set to the Raiders coming in the third pairs with 15 points.

"Today was another good test for us to be on the road and traveling and being able to show up up and execute a gameplan," Warriors' Head Coach Diana Villalpando stated earlier this evening. "It was super windy today and the girls did a great job of making adjustments and playing a fantastic game."

Villalpando continued by sharing, "We did a great job as a team of staying focused with a scrappy SOU team who only gets better with each time they play. I was really proud of the way the girls came out and gave a great effort."

There wasn't much room for error for the Warriors in their quick defeat of the Raiders, flying to quick decisions in each pair matchup to leave Ashland with a 7-2 overall record. Utilizing the new pairs that were established last week against the Beacons, Corban was able to see more success with the depth of their roster, proving that they can put up ridiculous numbers no matter who's on the sand.

Warrior Beach Volleyball will next return to campus for a pair of midweek dual doubleheaders, first on Tuesday with Bushnell University (4-3) making the I-5 north trek for 2pm and 4pm PDT start times.
