EUGENE, Ore. – It was all about execution today for the No. 1-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball team, as the Warriors pulled off their 10th and 11th 5-0 pair sweeps of the season with convincing wins over Southern Oregon University (3-6) and Northwest University (1-7).

"This weekend was fun to see the girls make adjustments to how teams were playing us," Corban Head Coach Diana Villalpando said earlier this afternoon. "They did a great job of not getting frazzled in tighter-point sets by staying aggressive and executing our adjustments."

The Warriors kicked off day two of the Bushnell Invitational exactly how they started it yesterday, sweeping their way to powerful 2-0 sweeps in every pair matchup against the Raiders to easily earn their 10th 5-0 sweep of the season and third-straight against SOU.

That momentum carried into their next matchup with the Eagles of Northwest, where the Warriors punched their ticket to another 5-0 sweep without dropping a single set on the day and leading to a perfect 30-0 weekend on sets won versus lost.

The rotating fifth pairs of senior Jolinn Daviscourt/redshirt sophomore Kalisi Latu and freshman Emmi Marks/senior Tyra Ching were the highlight of the day for the Navy and Gold, as both pairs allowed only 20 and 13 points, respectively, to their opponents in dominant results.
