CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2025 CCC Women's Beach Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Poll results on Tuesday morning, where the Corban University beach volleyball was selected to repeat from their inaugural conference championship in 2024 by receiving four of the six first-place votes and garner 33 voter points overall.

"We are honored by this ranking from the conference coaches, however it's a challenge more than anything else to uphold this selection over the course of a season," Warriors' second-year head coach Dan Stephens explained. "This team is driven by how close we were to playing in the national championship match once again last season. With various programs either disbanding or going to the NCAA, it will be interesting to see how the top of the NAIA shakes out in 2025. We had a great run last year with a number of new beach players and a couple with little sand experience. We've reloaded with a good group of experienced beach players for this season, and we are training hard. The CCC is very strong, and the other programs have recruited well. It will be a battle to win the conference and whichever team comes out on top will be tried and tested for nationals. I'm proud of how hard this squad is training and their desire to continue to improve. We hope to see a large number of our fans out there supporting us rain or shine this season!"
Representing the CCC as the top overall seed in last year's West Region Championship and eventually the National Beach Volleyball Invitational hosted by the NAIA, Coach Stephens and the Warriors are returning all but one starter from the 2024 national semifinalist crew that completed their third-consecutive postseason run to end within the top four programs in the country.
Following the Navy and Gold in this year's conference poll for the second-straight season was the Southern Oregon University Raiders (30), who nearly pulled off a historical upset over Corban in the NAIA West semifinals that would have possibly earned the Raider their first-ever berth to the national tournament. The Warriors won 2-of-3 regular season duals against SOU and earned a hard-fought 3-2 postseason victory to improve to 7-1 all-time against the Raiders, who received one of the remaining first-place votes in the 2025 preseason poll.
The final first-place vote was received by the College of Idaho (27) entering the Coyotes' second season of participation as a varsity sport, where they most recently earned a No. 3-seed in the NAIA West Championships during their first season of action. The Navy and Gold went 4-0 against the Yotes in 2024, including a 4-1 win in the west regionals that sent C of I home for the year.
The bottom half of the preseason poll was led by Bushnell University (18) in fourth overall, followed by Northwest University (11) and newly declared varsity program from Simpson University (7). The Beacons are looking to qualify for the postseason for a conference postseason tournament for the fourth-straight year, while the Eagles and RedHawks are both looking for their first postseason appearances.
