Corban Women’s Volleyball Maintains Top Ten Ranking Ahead of Massive Home Court Matchups

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the fourth of six 2025 regular season Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Polls, where the Corban University Women's Volleyball program preserved their top ten ranking with three ranked matchups scheduled over the next two weeks, two of which will take place on Tim Hills Court this upcoming weekend in a pair of revenge matchups for the Warriors.

"It's an honor to be recognized among the top ten teams in the national coaches' poll," shared Warriors' head coach Kim McLain. "At the same time, we know there is plenty of room to grow, and we'll keep pushing ourselves to improve every day. We're excited for the journey ahead and ready to keep building on what we've started."

A slight setback in the Warriors' quest for a Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) crown this past Wednesday to now No. 23-ranked Bushnell University resulted in their fall from fourth to eighth overall in the country, as the Beacons picked up their first win over Corban in a four-year span and only the second over the past eight seasons in a five-set thriller. The week prior, the Navy and Gold once again handled business on their home court, as they defeated RV Walla Walla University and now No. 11-ranked Lewis-Clark State College each in four sets, while capping the past two weeks off with a three-set road sweep of Warner Pacific University.

Corban women's volleyball is undefeated on their home court with a 9-0 unscathed record heading into a pair of incredibly meaningful CCC matchups this upcoming weekend, with a pair of top 15 head-to-head wins and two receiving-votes teams having suffered losses on Tim Hills Court to the Warriors as well. Their only losses on the season have all come in road matchups against nationally ranked or receiving-votes programs.

This upcoming weekend, the Warriors will have an opportunity to avenge two of their four losses on the year, as No. 1-ranked Eastern Oregon University (20-0, 12-0) and No. 19-ranked College of Idaho (12-7, 6-6) will visit the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center on Friday and Saturday at 6pm and 4pm, respectively. Both the Mounties and Yotes defeated the Navy and Gold in four sets on their own home courts, and with a pair of victories this weekend, the Warriors could very well find themselves back in contention for a conference championship by regular season's end.
