CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Poll earlier today, where the Corban University Women's Basketball team was designated to finish right in the middle of the regular season standings with a sixth place selection.

"I'm excited for this year to continue competing in this conference," detailed Corban head coach Kylie Frizell entering her second year as the program's head coach. "It's competitive and we are excited to prove to the remainder of the conference that we are ready to compete."

Lewis-Clark State College (110) emerged from the top of a crowded top four within this year's preseason poll results to earn the title of "preseason favorites", as the Lewiston Warriors received four of the eleven first place votes up for grabs. The CCC preseason runner-up along with the third and fourth place teams are all separated by a single voter point, with Oregon Tech (102) receiving three first place votes while Southern Oregon University (101) and The College of Idaho (100) split the remaining first place votes. Despite completing the first undefeated run through CCC play in conference history, the Raiders will begin the 2025-26 season as the third ranked team in the Pacific Northwest.

Eastern Oregon University (76) sits just ten voter points ahead of Corban (66) to round out the top five, while Bushnell University (57) and Northwest University (38) secured the seventh and eighth place positions as the final two postseason worthy teams among the 2025-26 preseason poll. The Evergreen State College (35), Warner Pacific University (27), and Walla Walla University (13) make up the final three teams in the CCC rankings and will all play the role of Cinderella teams looking to clinch upset this upcoming winter season.

The Navy and Gold open their competitive season on Saturday, October 25th at 2pm with a home scrimmage against Linn-Benton Community College on Tim Hills Court. Their regular season will begin one week later at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center for day one of the 2025 Hampton Inn Classic against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
