Frizell Adds Versatility, Experience in 2026-27 Corban Women’s Basketball Recruiting Class

SALEM, Ore. – Continuing to build toward sustained success in the highly competitive Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), the Corban University Women's Basketball program has announced the addition of five student-athletes to its 2026-27 recruiting class. The incoming group features a mix of accomplished high school standouts and experienced collegiate transfers, adding depth, leadership, and versatility to the Warrior roster who looks to repeat as CCC regular season and tournament champions.

"I'm really excited about our five newcomers this year with our two transfers and three true freshmen," expressed head coach Kylie Frizell. "All of them have come in with a hunger and competitive fire that's helping raise our level of competition within the program. Abigail coming in as a complete bulldozer, as she's a relentless player on both sides of the ball and now gets to play college basketball closer to home. Ava and her speed are so good for us as we try to increase our defensive intensity. And then our three freshmen: Zoey brings a fresh post presence with her length and shot blocking abilities, Addy represents a very bouncy guard who has a very well-rounded skillset, and Mackenzie being as pure of a shooter as they come. We're just so excited for what great Corban-fits they all are for our program and how much they'll raise our program's level of quality!

The class includes student-athletes from Oregon and Washington and is highlighted by multiple all-state selections, state champions, award winners, and collegiate transfers with proven experience at the next level. Together, the group represents a strong foundation for the future of Warrior Women's Basketball.
