CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2026 Baseball Coaches' Preseason Poll earlier today, where the Corban University Baseball program was selected to finish eighth among the ever-growing Pacific Northwest based programs that consistently send squads to the NAIA National Tournament on an annual basis.

"We have a lot to look forward to this upcoming season," began Corban head coach Ryan Harris entering his third year as the Warriors' dugout leader. "We can't wait for this team to compete in the spring, as we have a versatile group with great depth that allows us to have more options and opportunities for our guys to continue to rely on one another. We have to work hard and prove that we have what it takes to change where we are in this great conference. We can do it one day at a time, together step-by-step."
After capturing the 2025 regular season title and reaching the NAIA Avista World Series, the University of British Columbia (60) edged out Lewis-Clark State College (59) for the top spot in this year's preseason poll results by a single voter point yet held a 5-3 advantage in first place votes available. Bushnell University (45) most recently completed their best season in school history and thus earned this year's third overall preseason poll position, followed by Oregon Tech (45) and The College of Idaho (30) to round out the top five.
Eastern Oregon University (22), Warner Pacific University (15), and the Warriors (14) are all on the outside look in regarding the 2026 playoff picture, as the regular season champion will host the CCC Tournament on their home field with the next four teams in the regular season standings joining them to begin the month of May. Corban baseball's most recent postseason appearance was in 2022 when they served as the fourth-overall seed in Lewiston, Idaho.
With fall training sessions coming to a close this week, the Navy and Gold will turn their attention to the first scheduled contest of their 2026 regular season following the Christmas break, which will be on January 16th when they host Chemeketa Community College in a crosstown friendly scrimmage at Roto-Rooter Park. First pitch is currently scheduled for 3pm.
