KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the second of six regular season 2025-26 Women's Basketball Top 25 Coaches' Polls earlier this morning, where for the first time since the 2019-20 season, the Corban University Women's Basketball team jumped from the receiving-votes section into one of the top 25 programs across the country following their historic start to the second year under head coach Kylie Frizell.

"It's such an honor for our team to jump into the top 25 so early into the season, but we know the journey is far from over," explained Frizell when she learned her program had soared into the top 25 poll. "While the recognition for their hard work is well-deserved and we will take the time to reflect on what we've accomplished thus far, the hardest part of our season is still yet to come. We will take this week to enjoy time with our families and be thankful for what we've managed to achieve to date, then get back on the court as soon as possible to prepare for the start of conference play."
The Warriors (7-0) have been on an absolute tear since their season-opening win at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center, as their lone loss of the year has come in a road exhibition at NCAA DI Oregon State University, keeping their counting contest undefeated streak intact entering Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play next week. They've earned double-digit wins against three of their seven opponents, with their last four coming on the road against NCAA programs, including a 49-point victory at DIII Pacific Lutheran University.
Next Tuesday, the Navy and Gold will host I-5 rival Bushnell University (1-6) in the CCC opener across the entire Pacific Northwest, looking to earn a second-straight win over the Beacons after their stunning victory in the Morse Center last year. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm on Tim Hills Court, and fans wishing to purchase tickets to the CCC opener can do so by clicking HERE. Livestreams will also be provided on Urban Edge Network, which is available HERE for the Corban vs Bushnell women's basketball matchup.
