Roginski on First Team, Bischoff Third Team Among NAIA All-Americans for Corban Women’s Volleyball

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national office has announced the Women's Volleyball All-American teams for the 2025 fall season, where the No. 5-ranked Corban University Women's Volleyball team was represented by a pair of their top attackers from the past season and years prior in senior opposite hitter Makayla Roginski and junior outside hitter Emma Bischoff. Roginski earned First Team All-American accolades in her final season of competition, while Bischoff received Third Team recognition by the national association. For Roginski, this is her first national honor eclipsing an entire season of competition, whereas Bischoff has earned All-American honors in beach volleyball during her spring semesters, making this her third total All-American title.

Roginski claimed one of the fourteen First Team spots across the entire country behind her fourth and final season as a Warrior, which was her best statistical year to date with a team-best 371 kills, a .295 kill percentage as a true pin attacker, and 96 overall blocks which trails only starting middle blockers Gracie Boeder and Addison Mills for the team lead. Over her career, Roginski tallied 382 total blocks (3rd all-time), 1,335 kills (6th all-time), and a .268 kill percentage (10th all-time), further cementing her place in the Corban women's volleyball record book as one of the most prolific right side attackers in program history.

"Makayla earning First Team All-American is an incredible feat and a true reflection of her hard work she has put in day in and day out," explained Corban head coach Kim McLain regarding one of her senior leaders. "She committed herself to getting better, stayed the course, and finished the season strong when it mattered most. I'm beyond proud of her accomplishments, both as a player and as a person. It is truly an honor to coach Makayla."

Bischoff continued her dual-sport career in the Navy and Gold threads with yet another All-American nod, as the junior from Medford has already accumulated a pair of First Team All-American accolades from her two spring seasons on the sand courts thus far and adds her first indoor achievement to her ever-growing trophy case. This season, Bischoff was just seven total kills (364) behind Roginski as the top attacking threat within the program, while her 447.5 total points scored is the most on the squad thanks to her team-leading 57 service aces, which ties her single-season personal best from 2024 for seventh most in Corban history and sets a new top-five mark for aces per set average (0.49). For her career, Bischoff is now fifth all-time in total service aces (153) and sixth in aces per set (0.40) with her senior season still to come. Additionally, she's 76 kills away from hitting the 1,000-career kill mark.

"Emma earning Third Team All-American recognition is a testament to the way she pushed herself to grow this year," McLain continued, this time discussing one of her top outside hitters. "Her commitment to improving the details of her game and her mental strength truly paid off. She is a tremendous leader both on and off the court, setting the standard for our program. I'm so blessed to coach her and excited for what she still has in store."
