KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the third of six regular season 2025-26 Women's Basketball Top 25 Coaches' Polls earlier this morning, where the Corban University Women's Basketball program continued their resurgence in the national eye by rising four spots and into the top twenty programs overall heading into a massive conference weekend on the road in southern Oregon. The Warriors are now the second-highest ranked program across the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), trailing only the preseason favorites from Lewis-Clark State College.

"We're very excited to see the recognition we've received from the national eye, but we're even hungrier to prove out worth still," explained Warriors' head coach Kylie Frizell. We want to continue to grow as we begin the bulk of our conference schedule, with a handful of competitive programs sitting between us and our end goal still to go."
Since the most recent coaches' top 25 poll where the Navy and Gold burst on to the national scene for the first time since the 2019-20 season, they kicked off CCC action with a 2-0 record after defeating I-5 rival Bushnell University in the all-around conference opener on Tim Hills Court before paying a visit to PDX for their first CCC road test, where they pummeled Warner Pacific University for a nearly thirty-point victory.
Despite accepting their first loss of the season in a 67-57 home decision to Northwest Conference preseason favorite and NCAA DIII program Linfield University, the Warriors still lead the CCC in points per game (83.6) as the only squad to average over 80 points per contest on a blazing hot 46.4% field goal percentage, which also leads the Pacific Northwest universities.
A pair of postseason-implicating road contests await the Dubs this upcoming Friday and Saturday, as they'll venture to RV Southern Oregon University (7-3, 2-0) and No. 20-ranked Oregon Tech (6-4, 2-0) in a battle of the CCC's best offense against two of the most prolific defensively minded programs the conference has to offer. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm on Friday against the Raiders and 3pm against the Lady Owls, all streaming for free on the Urban Edge Network (UEN).
