KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the first of five regular season Women's Beach Volleyball Top 10 Coaches' Polls for the 2025 spring season, where the Corban University Beach Volleyball program moved up a single spot to the No. 2-overall selection in the country as they anticipate hosting their first tournament of the year this upcoming weekend.

"There was a little movement in the latest rankings, but it's still really early to know where we stand until we play someone," explained Corban head coach Dan Stephens ahead of their first tournament of the season. "There were a couple of programs that played a number of matches already and that caused the adjustment we're seeing today. This weekend is against a trio of division one programs, and it will be a real test of where are strengths and weaknesses are. My hope is that we respond to the tough competition with confidence and stay within our gameplan. I would love to solidify the second overall ranking, but until we get into conference play, we won't know where we stand on a national scale."
The Warriors have yet to officially play their first counting contests of the season with only having recently hosted their annual intersquad scrimmage this past Saturday in a snowy morning session at the Corban Beach Volleyball Courts. This upcoming weekend, the Navy and Gold will host three different NCAA DI programs at their home courts, which will include the University of Portland Pilots, the University of Oregon Ducks, and the Sacramento State University Hornets.
Corban beach volleyball will battle the Pilots on Friday at 10am in their only matchup of the day, followed by the Ducks and Hornets on Saturday at 12pm and 2pm, respectively. The Warriors are 9-2 all-time against Portland, while still searching for their first program wins against Oregon (0-6) and Sac State (0-1).
