Corban Beach Volleyball Remains Top Two in Third Regular Season NAIA Coaches’ Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the third of five NAIA Beach Volleyball Regular Season Coaches' Top 10 polls for the 2025 spring season earlier this morning, where the Corban University Beach Volleyball program appeared at the No. 2-overall ranking for a third-consecutive voting cycle amid their eight-match winning streak.

"We are mid-season and we've been challenged by our conference opponents, and we expect the second half to be even tougher," Corban head coach Dan Stephens shared this morning. "Having a high national ranking fuels your opponents, and they tend to bring their best when playing you. We must stay focused and continue to make improvements and be prepared for a challenging schedule."

The Warriors, who haven't dropped a dual since their season-opening tournament against NCAA DI University of Oregon, moved to 7-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play since the most recent national ranking and hold a two-game lead over No. 10-ranked College of Idaho. Corban picked up a first-place vote on the national ballot for the first time since the preseason poll and hold two of the three CCC Pairs of the Week through three weeks of competition thus far.

This upcoming weekend, the Navy and Gold will play four incredibly important duals against tourney host Northwest University and the No. 10-ranked Yotes, as they'll battle the Eagles at 2pm and C of I at 4pm on both Friday and Saturday in Seattle, Washington at the Alki Beach courts.
