Lee, Corban Men's and Women's Track & Field Programs, Secure All-Academic Honors from USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the team and individual recipients of the 2024-25 All-Academic Awards for the NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA ranks within both indoor and outdoor track & field participation. The award nominations are submitted for consideration by the programs' head coaches and must hit specific requirements to qualify for these distinct academic recognitions.

"The Warrior track and field teams continue to work hard in the classroom," Corban head coach Todd Bos explained. "God has blessed the team with diligent student-athletes, and we are consistently honored by their academic excellence."

The Warrior athletic department saw both their men's and women's programs qualify for the Scholar team award, where the entire squad must hold a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA while maintaining eligibility. The Corban men's team posted a 3.39 GPA, which ranks within the top ten for the entire NAIA. The women were slated in the top thirty for track & field programs at 26th overall with 3.52 cumulative GPA.

On an individual basis, student-athletes must qualify with a 3.25 cumulative GPA while also hitting at least one national qualifying mark in an event during either the indoor or outdoor competitive seasons. For a second-consecutive school year, sophomore Braydon Lee earned individual recognition as a USTFCCCA Scholar-Athlete after finishing the 2024-25 academic season with a 3.40 cumulative GPA and a national qualifying mark in the men's 800m race.
