SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University Men's and Women's Cross Country programs will be traveling up and down the Willamette Valley this upcoming fall season, as both the men and women's teams feature identical slates this upcoming school year with five regular season meets that will stretch from late August to the end of October before postseason contention begins in early November when they'll host the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championships.

"We're very excited for both teams this fall," Warriors' associate head coach Stuart Eagon detailed when asked to discuss the programs and their upcoming season of competition. "God has blessed us with sixteen new recruits, giving us the biggest cross country team in Corban history. If the men stay healthy, we could even have our best team year ever. I'm hopeful for the women as well - they showed improvement last year and we've added several great recruits. We need to stay healthy as a group yet work hard this summer to be prepared, as the CCC is easily the best distance conference in NAIA. May God be glorified in all that we do as a team."
The 2024 season resulted in fourth and seventh place finishes for the men's and women's programs, respectively, as the two squads continue to surge up the CCC standings on an annual basis with even more head-to-head competition against some of the long-distance competition within the NAIA scheduled once again in 2025.
The Warriors will see their entire upcoming fall slate played out within the state of Oregon, with those qualifying for the 2025 NAIA National Championships traveling cross-country to The Sunshine State. On Saturday, August 30th, Corban will open the year at the Lewis & Clark Opener, hosted by NCAA DIII Lewis & Clark College at Milo McIver State Park in Estacada.
Only one appearance in September will send the Warriors to Monmouth for the Ash Creek Collegiate, where NCAA DII Western Oregon University will host on the 12th at the Ash Creek Preserve. The month of October will be much busier for the Navy and Gold, as they'll travel further from campus with each of the passing weeks with the Willamette Invitational, George Oja Invitational, and the Bushnell Invitational taking place all within a 21-day span. NCAA DIII Willamette University will welcome competitors on October 4th at Bush Park, the Wildcats of NCAA DIII Linfield University is scheduled to host on October 18th at the Oak Knoll Golf Course of Independence, followed by I-5 rival Bushnell University hosting their own invitational on October 24th at the Pine Ridge Golf Course in Springfield.
With the Warriors scheduled to host the 2025 CCC Championships, the George Oja Invitational will also serve as the 2025 CCC Preview Meet, where conference members will have the opportunity to race against each other on the same course they will battle for a pair of conference championships on Friday, November 11th. Oak Knoll is a renowned and extremely competitive cross country course within the Pacific Northwest, and the Warriors will benefit from hosting the championships just 22 minutes away from the foot of Corban's campus.
The 2025 NAIA National Cross Country Championships will take place on Friday, November 21st in Tallahassee, Florida and hosted by the City of Tallahassee at the Apalachee Regional Park. A livestream of the event will be made available by the NAIA as the start of postseason competition approaches.
