Corban Men’s Cross Country Team Earns Highest National Ranking in Program History

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 2025 Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Preseason Poll, where the Corban University men's cross country program appeared within the top ten national squads for the first time ever as they enter their 25th season of competition as a collegiate program.

"We're honored to have our highest national rank ever, but the season has not even begun, and we have a lot of work to do," shared Warriors' associate head coach Stuart Eagon. "We are enjoying our team camp right now and will shortly begin our training schedule for this season, excited about what God is doing with our team. It's important we don't get big headed regarding national accolades, but recognizing that being a top ten team requires consistency and discipline in training week in and week out."

The Warriors enter their 25th season of action on the cusp of their best national ranking they've ever received, appearing at No. 9-overall in the entire NAIA. Previously, their best poll result stood at No. 14-nationally which came in the fall of 2023. With a hoard of returners set to lead the Navy and Gold on the courses this upcoming season, led by junior Jack Gladfelter who finished the 2024 season in eighth place at the NAIA National Championships and picked up the first of two All-American accolades last school year.

Next Friday, the Warriors will make their first appearance of the 2025 fall season when they travel to Estacada, Oregon for the Lewis & Clark Opener that begins at 9:30am and is hosted by NCAA DIII Lewis & Clark College.
