KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the fifth of six regular season 2025-26 Men's Wrestling Top 25 Coaches' Polls earlier this morning, where the Corban University Men's Wrestling program rose one spot into a three-way tie for No. 17-overall in the country alongside Marian University (Ind.) and Lindsey Wilson University (Ky.), while serving as the fifth of six Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) teams ranked within the top twenty-five and four more receiving votes.

The Navy and Gold most recently competed at the NWCA National Duals, where they completed a 1-4 dual record last weekend against the best competition the NAIA has to offer with multiple individual ranked victories and one team upset. On Friday, the Warriors upset No. 14-ranked Central Methodist University (Mo.) in a 24-19 stunner, where they overcame a 12-point deficit and utilized a 4-1 decision win from redshirt senior Antonio Garcia at 285lbs to clinch the upset. Garcia was the lone Corban student-athlete to complete an unscathed 5-0 weekend with multiple top 25 victories, which netted the Salem native back-to-back CCC Wrestler of the Week honors.
From an individual ranking perspective, Garcia leads the program as the No. 2-ranked grappler at 285lbs, moving up one spot after his impressive showing in the central United States. Junior Isaiah Twait once again checked in at No. 4-overall for 184lbs, while senior Blake Runion maintained a national ranking at No. 24-overall for 141lbs. Finally, junior Jr Downing made a resurgence at 149lbs, moving from unranked to within the top twenty at No. 19-nationally as the postseason draws ever closer.
The Warriors are in La Grande later tonight for their first dual with a CCC opponent in 2026, as they'll travel to battle RV Eastern Oregon University (4-4) at 5:30pm within Quinn Coliseum.
