KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the fifth of six regular season 2025-26 Women's Basketball Top 25 Coaches' Polls earlier this morning, where for the Corban University Women's Basketball dropped two spots to the No. 22-overall position following a 3-1 record since the most recent national rankings were released, including a dominant road victory over a Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) program who also received votes in this week's poll.

"We have eight regular season games left and I'm really happy with where we are as a team to get to the point we are at right now," explained Corban head coach Kylie Frizell when asked to discuss her program's national ranking and the ensuing CCC standings race. "I believe the team that can be the most consistent night in and night out will win this conference, and if we want to be that team it starts with doing the little things right this upcoming weekend against Evergreen and Northwest. Being able to enjoy back-to-back weekends at home against tough opponents in front of our fans will provide us with an opportunity to show why we are deserving of being right in the middle of this championship race."
A trio of wins following a three-point road loss consists of the Warriors (16-4, 9-3) most recent results across the CCC slate, which began with a narrow loss to No. 15-ranked Eastern Oregon University. The Navy and Gold have plenty of contests to regroup before they host the Mounties on Corban's Senior Day on Tim Hills Court in mid-February.
Starting off their road trip with a one-possession loss to EOU could have been detrimental with the receiving-votes College of Idaho team awaiting to host the Dubs the next afternoon, but instead they used it as motivation to secure a 73-61 road win against a Yote program that was riding a four-game winning streak that included road wins at Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon. That represents the first of three-straight double-digit wins for Corban women's basketball after securing season sweeps over Bushnell University via an 85-55 road victory and Warner Pacific University thanks to an 87-42 home win.
The Warriors are on the road this upcoming weekend before they return to the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center for their final homestand of the season, as they'll make stops in western Washington against The Evergreen State College (0-15, 0-12) and Northwest University (6-14, 2-10) on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
