"This has been only a matter of time before Jenna was selected to this award," Corban head coach Kylie Frizell explained regarding her redshirt junior shooting guard. "Jenna is such a great player for us, and I've loved coaching her for the last two years and seeing her develop into such an offensive threat who can handle business on both sides of the court. In times this weekend when we needed her most, she rose to the occasion and continues to demonstrate this incredible personality where she puts the team first above herself. I'm honored to coach her and so proud of what she's able to accomplish."
Leading all scorers in both contests, Albrecht was as efficient as ever across the Warriors' wins over the Yotes and nationally ranked Mountaineers, scoring at will for 20 and 18-point performances, respectively. She shot at a 73.6% success rate (14-of-19) with five assists while hauling down 12 rebounds along the way. With this weekend's efforts, Albrecht rose to No. 8 across the CCC in points per game (14.3), No. 5 in three-point percentage (39.7%), and No. 9 in assists per game (3.0).
Albrecht will lead the Warriors into a massive road matchup on Friday, February 20th against No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College, with the victor pulling to within one win of clinching at least a share of the 2026 CCC regular season title. The second Battle of the Warriors this season is scheduled to tip off at 5pm in the P1FCU Activity Center.
