KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national office has announced the National Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week for the competitions held between February 16th to 22nd, where for a second-straight year, the No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball team opened the 2026 award season with the weekly pair award winners. "It's fun for Emma and Emmi to get recognized as the national pair of the week after a tough week of matches for both them and the entire team," expressed Warriors' head coach Dan Stephens. "Everyone on the team is excited to see them get recognized, as they get challenged by them in every practice. Iron sharpens iron!"
Marks and Bischoff, representing the Warriors' top pairing, handled business in dominant fashion against the best beach duos from NCAA DI University of Portland and Sacramento State University, alongside NCAA DII Chaminade University. They finished 6-0 in sets played with impressive sweeps over the three NCAA programs, helping lead the Dubs to 4-1 match scores over the Pilots and Hornets, in addition to a 5-0 sweep over the Silverswords.
The first Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) regular season tournament of the 2026 season will take place this upcoming weekend on the Warriors' home sand, as they'll welcome Northwest University, No. 9-ranked The College of Idaho, and Bushnell University for six matches across Friday and Saturday. Corban and Northwest will meet at 2pm on Friday for each team's first CCC contest of the year.
