No. 2 Warriors Complete Sweep of Eagles to Kick Off Conference Action

SALEM, Ore. – The No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball program opened up their 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) schedule with a dominant 5-0 sweep over Northwest University on day one of the Warrior Tournament, taking every set played atop the Warriors' campus on a beautiful day across the Pacific Northwest.

"We got off to a good start today starting off conference play with a win over Northwest," explained Corban head coach Dan Stephens. "We have improvements to make and working on consistency as we move forward. We have a tough challenge tomorrow against C of I so we'll need to be sharp."

It was nothing but Warriors (7-1, 1-0) to start their 2026 conference slate against the visiting Eagles (0-1, 0-1), who were playing in their first counting dual of the season. Corban outscored Northwest 210 to 109 today with five of the ten sets played featuring Navy and Gold wins so dominant that their opponents didn't even hit double digits in a set. Both the No. 4-pairing of junior Stacie Alexander and redshirt freshman Katie Fraley alongside the No. 5-pairing of redshirt junior Erin Scott and freshman Emily Blagg provided the most dominant results of the day, with the fours clinching back-to-back 21-8 set scores while the fives allowed just one more point in a 21-9 closing set.
