SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) best 13-match winning streak came to an end this afternoon in northern California, as the No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball squad dropped their first dual since the first matchup of the 2026 season to NCAA DI University of San Francisco via a 4-1 non-conference decision on the campus of Sacramento State University.

"We didn't do the fundamentals well today," began head coach Dan Stephens. You can't get away with that at this level of competition and expect to win. We will try to reset before a pair of big non-conference duals tomorrow."

The only pairing of the day to walk away with a pair victory for Corban beach volleyball (13-2, 7-0) was the fifth duo of redshirt junior Erin Scott and freshman Emily Blagg, who posted a 21-11, 21-15 straight-set sweep of the Dons' (5-7) Nadia Murray Ceriello and Scarlett McClung. Meanwhile, San Francisco swept the remaining pairs with the exception of the threes and fours, where the Dubs attempted rallies that fell short in long third sets.
