Farr, Hull, Williams Revealed as Warrior Athletics’ Hall of Fame Class of 2026

SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University Athletic department is proud to announce the most recent additions to the Warrior Athletics' Hall of Fame, as the three-person Class of 2026 was announced earlier today by Director of Athletics Bill Pilgeram and the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. A pair of Corban student-athletes who wrote their names in the history books of both the University and NAIA organizations were selected to this year's class, alongside a program-defining head coach who set standards and expectations for what is now a nationally recognized team. Jordan Farr and Stephanie (Nippert) Hull of the Corban men's soccer and softball programs, respectively, have been announced as inductees via the student-athlete category, while Terry Williams of the women's basketball program has been announced as a coach inductee.

"These three individuals have each left a legacy of excellence at Corban, contributing greatly to the mission of Corban University and history of Warrior Athletics," Pilgeram explained regarding this year's class members. "We are very excited to honor these inductees while celebrating all of our current student-athletes at the upcoming Golden Warrior Awards."

Farr represents one of few Warrior student-athletes in school history to not only emerge as a prime competitor on the field, but also to lead by example in the classroom and in their walk with Christ as a true follower of the Corban University mission. Athletically, Farr still competes to this day as one of the top professional goalkeepers across the country for DC United of the Major League Soccer association. During the 2022 professional season, Farr led San Antonio FC to a USL Championship and was named the USL Goalkeeper of the Year for his professional efforts. While he battled between the posts as a Warrior, Farr garnered All-American accolades, a CCC Defensive Player of the Year title, and was named an All-Conference goalkeeper in all four seasons of competition. He is the all-time program leader in both shutouts (44) and goals against average (0.74).

Hull, formerly Nippert, was one of the most electric competitors in Corban athletics history when she donned the navy and gold threads for the Warrior softball program from 2010 to 2013. She set the NAIA career home run record with 83 longballs over her four-year Corban career, earning All-American accolades in all four seasons and was named the CCC Player of the Year in three of those seasons. She became the first NAIA softball student-athlete to smash 20 homers and steal 20 bases in the same season, leading the entire nation in home runs (30), total bases (168), and slugging percentage (1.098) during her senior year campaign. Hull eventually made history for the University as the 2014 Ad Rutschman Small College Female Athlete of the Year selected by the Oregon Sports Awards association, recognizing the top athletes of any sport from across the state of Oregon.

Williams is the winningest head coach in Corban women's basketball program history by a wide margin, as he directed the program for 14 seasons and secured 235 victories along the way to average a winning record with over 16 wins per year. Countless student-athletes were named to All-American and All-Conference awards under his coaching philosophy alongside a pair of CCC Regular Season Championship titles and one CCC Tournament Championship for the program. In 1995, Williams saw his Warrior squad claim the first national championship in school history after completing a three-game string of upsets through the NCCAA National Tournament, knocking off three-straight higher seeds to eventually claim the national crown. For his efforts, Williams was named the NCCAA National Coach of the Year following their national tournament run. His 1994-95 team was selected to the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2012.

The Class of 2026 will be inducted in person at the upcoming Golden Warrior Awards at the end of the 2025-26 school year, which is currently scheduled for April 20th, 2026, inside the Corban University Psalm Center. Tickets will be available online for the general public to purchase closer to the event date and will be announced by the Corban athletic department once accessible.

History of Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame

The Warrior Department of Athletics, in order to honor and promote excellence in the institution's sport's programs, establish the Warrior Athletics Hall of Fame (HOF) in 2010. The purpose is to recognize outstanding contributions and accomplishments to the heritage and tradition of Corban University Athletics. The intent of the HOF is to honor and preserve the memory of those athletes, teams, coaches and others whose achievements have brought recognition and honor to Corban University (formerly Western Baptist College) and it's athletic department.

In order to qualify for nomination, there is a seven-year waiting period, meaning anyone individual/team that participated in Corban University events must have been prior to the 2018-19. Information is to be presented on the standardized online nomination form (intent is not to give an advantage based on the merit of the nominator's documents) with supplementary information accepted and considered in the deliberations. Any supplementary information will be requested by the Hall of Fame Committee through the original nominator. All nominees submitted must be reviewed and approved by Corban University before consideration for HOF acceptance.

A Selection Committee will meet in the winter/spring of each year to review, discuss, and vote on nominees. A two-thirds favorable vote is required by the Selection Committee to be inducted. Up to three individual inductees may be selected in any given year, whether it be individuals or teams. Minimum number of inductees is one. Candidates nominated and not elected, will automatically be considered the following two years. After a total of three years, the candidate cannot be considered for a one-year period. New nomination forms must then be resubmitted.
