SALEM, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office has announced the McDonald's CCC Players of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for the competitions held between February 23rd and March 1st, where the No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball team was represented by one of their top five pairings for a second-consecutive award cycle. Senior Alexis Adebodun and junior Cammie Masanda received this week's Pair of the Week honor following a 2-0 weekend where they didn't drop a set across dominant team victories over fellow conference members Northwest University No. 9-ranked College of Idaho.

"Cammie and Alexis have been battling these past three weeks against some tough NAIA and NCAA DI/DII pairs and have been taking care of business," explained Corban head coach Dan Stephens. "These two are locked in and hold each other to a high standard of competition and are determined to make this a rewarding season. We always look forward to seeing Alexis and Cammie compete and will get to do so again tomorrow at home against Bushnell."
In the first CCC regular season tournament of the 2026 season, Adeobun and Masanda powered the Navy and Gold lineup from the No. 3-overall pairing with impressive 2-0 set sweeps of their Eagle and Yote opponents. On Saturday, the duo made quick work of NU's Ava Hoy and Kali Dransfeldt via 21-12 and 21-8 set scores, followed by 21-19 and 21-12 victories over C of I's Faith Faucher and Ellie Baker. After dropping their season opener in southern California, Adebodun and Masanda have since been untouchable with an 8-0 record and are just one loss behind the Warriors' undefeated top pairing for the team lead.
The Corban beach volleyball program will host their Senior Day tomorrow afternoon atop the Warriors' campus, as they'll welcome Bushnell University (2-4, 2-2) for 2pm and 4pm CCC doubleheader rivalry duals.
