CALDWELL, Idaho – A 25-dual Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) winning streak dating back to the 2024 season remained intact today for the No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball, as the Warriors participated in day one of the conference tourney hosted by No. 10-ranked College of Idaho and handed the Yotes a 4-1 loss before sweeping Northwest University for the second time this season. The victories clinch the head-to-head series with both C of I and NU for the 2026 regular season as there are now just six remaining duals left for the Navy and Gold in CCC action this year.
"We had to battle hard as a team to get these wins today," explained Warriors' head coach Dan Stephens. "C of I has really stepped up their game and fought us hard on their home courts. The weather was similar to the heat we had last weekend in Sacramento, and we did much better handling that. We do it all again tomorrow and we will be working on the areas of the game we focused on in practices this past week."
Four of the five Warriors' (16-3, 9-0) pairings went 2-0 today against the Yotes (4-5, 4-5) and Eagles (2-7, 2-7), all four of which also secured their victories in straight sets as Corban went 18-3 in sets played. Senior Alexis Adebodun and junior Cammie Masanda started the day in the twos with 21-17 and 21-13 wins over C of I's Carolina Moreno-Rubio and Faith Faucher, followed by 21-13 and 21-5 set scores over Northwest's Sophia White and Ellie Baker in the third-overall pairing. On average, Adebodun and Masanda allowed just 12 points per set to their opponents, the lowest of any Corban pair today.
