CALDWELL, Idaho – Amidst the Yotes' 2026 Senior Day festivities, the No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball team couldn't be distracted while an opportunity to sweep the season series between both No. 10-ranked College of Idaho and Northwest University for a third-straight season was up for grabs, which they secured in dominant fashion via back-to-back 5-0 sweeps of the Yotes and Eagles to close out a 4-0 weekend in Caldwell.
"Today was a good day for these Warriors and it was fun to be a part of," expressed Corban head coach Dan Stephens shortly after the completion of his team's 4-0 weekend. "The team handled the windy conditions very well and when the Yotes or Eagles tried to go on a run, we responded confidently. We will get some practice in over spring break before we meet Southern Oregon in Ashland next Friday to see who will claim the conference and host the postseason tournament."
It was quite literally all Warriors (18-3, 11-0) today in southwestern Idaho, as the Navy and Gold inched one step closer towards another Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) regular season crown with their commanding wins over the nationally ranked Yotes (5-6, 5-6) and Eagles (2-9, 2-9) where they dropped just one set counting towards decision all day long. With today's victories, the Dubs clinch the first of four spots in the 2026 CCC Tournament.
No. 3-overall pairing of Alexis Adebodun and junior Cammie Masanda completed their undefeated weekend with back-to-back 21-8 set scores over C of I's Sophia White and Ellie Baker before dealing out 21-10 and 21-14 losses to NU's Ava Hoy and Kali Dransfeldt. Additionally, senior Emmi Marks and junior Emma Bischoff became the first duo across the conference to hit the 20-win mark on the season, as they are now 20-1 overall and 11-0 in CCC play. Their win total is already top six all-time by a Warrior pairing with four matches still to be played in the regular season.
