Adebodun, Masanda Secure Second CCC Pair of the Week Honor of 2026 Regular Season

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office has announced the McDonald's CCC Players of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for the competitions held between March 16th and 22nd, where the No. 2-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball program picked up their third Pair of the Week honor of the regular season and second overall for their No. 3-overall pairing. Senior Alexis Adebodun and junior Cammie Masanda were the most dominant duo of the weekend in southwestern Idaho, helping lead the Warriors to a 4-0 record across conference play.

"This was a good week of competition for Alexis and Cammie as they continue to handle tough opponents," began Warriors' head coach Dan Stephens when asked to discuss the play of his pairing with the second most wins across the CCC. "The two have a high beach volleyball IQ and can adjust to keep their opponents guessing. They both are holding themselves to a high level of training and competition, and we are looking forward to watching them as we get into the final couple of weeks of conference play."

Corban beach volleyball's third overall duo of Adebodun and Masanda played up a pair to start the weekend against No. 10-ranked College of Idaho, handling their Yote opponents 21-17 and 21-13 set losses before 21-13 and a dominant 21-5 results against Northwest University. The following afternoon, they repeated their success with back-to-back 21-8 set scores against the Yotes' third pairing, while their rematch with the Eagles' threes ending in 21-10 and 21-14 set scores. They allowed just 11 points per set on average to their opponents to improve to 18-3 overall on the year, trailing only the Dubs' top duo, senior Emmi Marks and junior Emma Bischoff, in wins across the conference.

Adebodun and Masanda will lead the Warriors into their massive rematch with No. 4-ranked Southern Oregon University (10-2, 8-1) this upcoming Friday on the Raiders' home sand, looking to clinch at least the tiebreaker against SOU for a third-consecutive season as they pursue yet another regular season title. First serve is scheduled for 12pm on the 27th, with their final matchup of the year against Simpson University (0-15, 0-9) following their contest with Southern Oregon at 2pm.
