Corban Beach Volleyball Remains in National Top Two Amid Ten-Match Win Streak

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the second of four regular season 2026 Beach Volleyball Top 10 Coaches' Polls earlier this morning, where the Corban University Beach Volleyball program remained at No. 2-overall despite earning two first-place votes as they continue to roll through the Pacific Northwest. With Webber International University (Fla.) following out of this week's top 10, the Warriors and No. 1-ranked Spirit of Ottawa University Arizona are now the only two remaining programs to have appeared in every top 10 poll dating back to the inaugural NAIA season in the spring of 2022.

"We are early into conference play, and we have been doing what we need to do to get the wins so far," explained Corban head coach Dan Stephens. "Friday will be a real test of where we are as a team as we play an SOU team ranked right behind us nationally. It's going to be a top four national matchup, and we will need to be at our best to beat Southern Oregon."

Since the most recent national rankings were released in February, the No. 2-ranked Warriors (10-1, 4-0) have extended their winning streak to ten-straight matchups, which include victories over NCAA DI schools Sacramento State University and University of Portland, NCAA DII Chaminade University, No. 9-ranked College of Idaho, Northwest University, and are fresh off a doubleheader sweep of their I-5 rivals from Bushnell University, who are now receiving votes in this week's poll. On an individual basis, the Navy and Gold have claimed the first two CCC Pair of the Week honors, with their top pairing of senior Emmi Marks and junior Emma Bischoff claiming the first and third pairing of senior Alexis Adebodun and junior Cammie Masanda securing the second. Additionally, Marks and Bischoff were named the first National Pair of the Week this season by the NAIA earlier last week.

This upcoming Friday, the Warriors and No. 4-ranked Southern Oregon University Raiders (4-1, 2-0) will clash for the first time since their epic postseason meeting last April at the NAIA National Invitational where the Dubs dealt out a reverse sweep against their conference rivals. First serve at the twos, fours, and sixes is scheduled for 12pm at the Grace Beach Courts hosted by Bushnell.
