Warrior Women’s Golf Tied for Seventh in 2026 CCC Coaches Preseason Poll

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2026 Women's Golf Coaches' Preseason Poll on Thursday afternoon, with the Corban University women's golf program earning a tie for seventh place after receiving 12 total voting points. The Warriors share the spot with Walla Walla University in the conference's annual preseason projection.

"We have only four student-athletes entering the 2026-27 season, and they'll all need to be at the very top of their game in our CCC tournaments in order to be competitive in this deep conference," explained Corban head coach Charlie Marshall.

The Warriors enter the 2026-27 campaign looking to continue the steady progress made under head coach Charlie Marshall while relying on a talented young core that gained valuable championship experience throughout the 2025-26 season. Despite fielding an underclassman-heavy roster, Corban battled through a challenging conference slate and capped the year with an eighth place finish at the CCC Championships in Lewiston, Idaho, led by sophomores Ashlyn Thomas and Madelyn Moore.

The Warriors' recent success includes a sixth-place finish at the 2025 CCC Championships, marking an improvement from their placement the previous season. Corban was highlighted by graduate student Kristin Senatra, who secured All-CCC recognition after posting a 78.6 conference scoring average, ranking among the league's top performers. Senatra's leadership helped guide one of the program's first complete women's golf rosters through a successful campaign and established momentum for the next generation of Warrior golfers. Corban will look to build upon the development shown by Thomas and Moore this season alongside junior Kaylee Umbright and incoming freshman Amanda Ramirez.

The preseason poll was topped by the University of British Columbia, which earned all eight first-place votes and 64 total points after capturing both the 2025 CCC regular-season and tournament championships. Lewis-Clark State College claimed the No. 2 position, followed by Oregon Tech, Southern Oregon University, The College of Idaho, and Bushnell University.
