2022: The sophomore appeared in 19 games for the 2022 Warriors and started 16…he hit a .227 clip in his 44 plate appearances…he knocked in seven runs, walked twice and stole a base…

2021: Member of the Warrior squad that appeared in the NAIA Opening Round for the first time in program history... Appeared in 5 games on the season, all off the bench... Tallied two hits and an RBI in limited work... 

Personal: A local product hailing from nearby Keizer, Ore., Covalt will come to Corban after going to Umpqua Community College for the spring season of 2020, which was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. During his high school career, Covalt participated in baseball, swimming, and football. He was particularly exceptional on the diamond, however, as he piled up First-Team All-League honors in both his junior and senior seasons. His .476 batting average at McNary High School demonstrates his ability to hit for contact at a high level.  

Covalt intends to major in elementary education, hoping to become an elementary school teacher.
