Corban Athletics

2024: Member of the 2024 Corban Baseball team that finished 9-38 overall and 4-20 in CCC contests for a seventh-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 13 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, along with six NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024 season.

2023: Member of the 2023 Corban Baseball team that finished 16-30 overall and 10-14 in conference play to finish 6th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The squad set multiple single season program records on a team and individual basis, most notably an impressive number of triples (17) and the most stolen bases in a regular season to date (114).

Personal: Another addition from the state of California, Hakes looks to bolster the backstop for the Navy and Gold. A two-sport athlete in high school, Hakes brings a strong arm and speed to the diamond. Hakes threw out 26 baserunners in his high school career.

Hakes is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology with the intention of becoming a physician.
